Skills school skipped

Talks, workshops and moderated conversations with people who have actually done the thing: founders, executives, journalists, researchers. Every event is built around practical experience rather than theory, and every one ends with time to talk to the guest and to each other. The best ideas tend to come out of the room, not the slides.

So far the topics have covered entrepreneurship, public speaking, leading teams, digital transformation, AI, personal growth and building a network.

One evening, one guest

    One guest, a whole conversation

    A moderated conversation with one guest that ranges wherever it needs to: their life, the projects they are building, the work itself. Closer to a podcast on stage than to a lecture.

    Ask anything

    Questions from the room are part of the format. Anyone can ask anything, at any point in the evening.

  3. 03

    Stay after

    Drinks and conversation after the official part. This is where most of the useful things happen.

A conversation with Sebastjan Selan, who spent a decade in Slovenia’s intelligence and security agency and became the youngest director in SOVA’s history at 36. He later led Marina Portorož and held executive roles at Terme Čatež and Delo Prodaja, and today builds floating homes. Moderated by Nejc Krevs.
